Vidanta Riviera Maya

This was the most incredible travel experience. This 5 star resort was very high end with the most amazing villa, 18 restaurants with fabulous food, a beautiful beach club that served wonderful tropical drinks and impeccable service. The contemporary villa was very large with an amazing balcony including a plunge pool. We all had several spa treatments and there was a nice workout room. The owner gave several perks with the reservation and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The Grande Luxxe status gave guests extra perks within the resort. Our family had a wonderful relaxing vacation. It takes a bit to impress us but this was over the top. I highly recommend Vidanta resorts.

What a gorgeous vacation spot! It was worth every penny! We went for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at the Grand Bliss. I felt very pampered and well taken care of. The suite provided ample space to spread out including plenty of seating on the balcony. We used the dip pool and the jetted bath tubs. The housekeeping staff kept the place spotless. Having the wrist bracelets was very convenient. My sons could go to Jade and buy snacks or order food at the pool without needing to bring cash. All the employees were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the Beach Club. So relaxing to hang out at the pool and be waited on. Most mornings we went to the buffet at Café del Lago. The plentiful options allowed my teenage boys and husband to eat their fill. It was such a relaxing vacation. We even went on an excursion to some Mayan ruins, ATVing, and snorkeling in a cave. The concierge arranged this trip for us. There was transportation around the resort, but we preferred to take the walking paths. We loved seeing the iguanas and different birds. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation!

Our entire experience was perfect! The owners, David and Dayna, were wonderful and very attentive to our needs. The location of the resort was convenient and close to everything we wanted to do and see, although had we never left the resort we would have been completely happy as it is beautiful and had everything we needed to make our stay in Mexico lovely. One thing that stood out was the staff at the resort - every single person we came into contact with was helpful and genuinely kind, and the entire resort was spotless. With so much attention to detail, I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else on our next trip! David also recommended a wonderful tour guide who took us out for an entire day as we visited several Mayan temples and even a Mayan village complete with a small personal cooking lesson. Definitely a must on your visit, as is the Xcaret park! The evening program, showcasing Mexico's rich history and traditions through song and dance, is worth the price of admission alone! And be sure to include the Cirque du Soleil show in your visit as it is conveniently located across the highway from the resort, and they shuttle you right to the theater. It was amazing and the best we've seen! I could go on and on, but would highly recommend this owner and resort over and over again. I look forward to visiting their other locations!

Incredible vacation, everything was perfect - super luxurious accommodation, twice-daily maid service by the detail-oriented Rosario and Avelina, the incredible amenities, the very friendly building concierge, the best restaurants (especially Azur), the pool areas and above all, the Beach Club. Simply unbeatable!

My family and I had a wonderful time. It was the perfect space for the 8 of us. I loved the convenience of the kitchen and the beautiful plunge pool on the balcony.

What a pleasant and enjoyable week at this beautiful resort!! Amazing service, great facilities, wonderful people and a beautiful apartment, exactly as described, clean, modern and very comfortable!! It was one of our best vacations!! The restaurants are excellent and not overpriced! Being at the Grand luxxe gives you priceless advantages like access to a brand new beach club, private pool and private beach. The staff is extremely polite and will do everything to make you feel comfortable! We will definitely go back!! David was super quick at responding to our emails and clarifying any doubts. Cirque de Soleil is a must!! Already missing Vidanta and the mexican sun!

We recently enjoyed an amazing family reunion vacation at the Grand Luxxe Riviera Maya. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Three Bedroom Spa Suite. The unit was spacious, clean, luxurious and well-maintained by the housekeeping staff. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the deck with the refreshing plunge pool. The resort itself was large, but very manageable with the wooden walkways and the complimentary shuttle carts - if we didn't feel like walking, we never had to wait more than a couple minutes for the carts to arrive to take us wherever we wanted to go. We were fortunate to have perfect weather, and we enjoyed walking along the beach down to the less rocky areas of the resort where we could easily swim and snorkel from the shore. The new beach club provided an incredible setting to relax poolside right on the white sand beach while taking in the amazing views of the ocean. The food at the restaurants was top-notch, with a surprising variey of cuisine types. Our favorites were Gong, Tramonto and Azur. We made good use of the fitness center, which was well-equipped and conveniently located. The Spatium spa was beautiful and in an amazing jungle setting with a great selection of unique spa treatments. We also did a couple great off-site excursions where we explored Mayan ruins, did several ziplines, rode bicycles in the jungle, swam in cenotes and did some canoeing and paddle boarding. The Grand Luxxe concierge in our building helped us get to the front gate of the resort in an efficient manner so that we were able to meet our tour guides without any problems. The week seemed to fly by, and we had a great mix of on-site and off-site activities that created a lifetime of memories for our family. All in all, it was a perfect vacation, and we're all looking forward to returning in the future!
